Practicing the Art of Human Flourishing.

Connor Gwin is an Episcopal priest, poet, and teacher exploring the intersection of faith and human flourishing. He serves as Associate Rector for Spiritual Wellbeing and Care and Director of the Center for Wellbeing and Care at Christ Church Charlotte, where he helps people cultivate lives of greater depth, resilience, and wholeness.

Through the Center, Connor develops programs, retreats, and conversations that explore the intersection of spirituality, mental health, relationships, physical wellbeing, and contemplative practice. He has interviewed leading voices including John Philip Newell, Kate Bowler, Christian Wiman, and others whose work bridges faith, wellbeing, and the arts.

Connor’s poetry and essays have appeared in devotional books, magazines, and The Mockingbird. He is also the author of The Brackish Water Psalter, a weekly Substack exploring faith, poetry, and everyday life.

A sought-after speaker and retreat leader, Connor teaches on contemplative spirituality, wellbeing, grief, resilience, and the spiritual life, drawing on both ancient Christian wisdom and contemporary insights into human flourishing.

Connor is an Associate (Oblate) of the Order of the Holy Cross (AHC), an Anglican Benedictine monastic community in West Park, New York. He holds certifications in Contemplative Retreat and Group Leadership from the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Teens, and Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell.

Whether through preaching, poetry, retreats, or conversation, Connor’s work invites people to slow down, pay attention, and discover the deeper life that has been waiting for them all along.

He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife, their three children, and their rescue dog, Bear.
